The cookies were mushy

The cookies were unfortunately too moist and soft, almost cake-like, so they lost that classic cookie texture and bite. I couldn’t really enjoy them as cookies, even though the apricot jam filling was nice. They felt more mushy than crisp or chewy, which made them less satisfying.
